Composure is a calm alarm clock and morning ritual for iPhone. It wakes you to a sunrise, checks that you're actually up, then gives you a morning of intentions, affirmations and goals instead of a feed.

The story

Composure is made by Ryan Rotundo, founder of Arrowstone LLC, a California company. It's built on Apple's AlarmKit, so alarms ring through Silent mode and Focus, and it has no accounts, no analytics and no ads.

The idea is simple: waking up is only the start. Composure treats the first few minutes after your eyes open as the product - a sunrise on screen, a mission if you need one, then your affirmation, a quote or verse, today's goals, and your vision board. In the evening it winds you down with intentions for tomorrow; in the morning, they greet you.

Calm by design. Two hand-crafted palettes (deep forest, golden hour), serif typography, a sunrise that rises with your progress.
Built on AlarmKit. Every alarm is scheduled through AlarmKit, Apple's alarm framework, so it rings through Silent mode and Focus. A Wake-up check is scheduled with the alarm itself: if you stop the alarm and drift back off, it rings again at +3 and +7 minutes by default.
A sound library worth waking to. Thirty-nine wake sounds - piano, strings, nature, and a Bold & Loud set for heavy sleepers - each measured into Low, Standard and Full, with an optional gentle fade-in and a Surprise Me that never plays the same sound twice in a row once you give it two or more to choose from.
